First Duty…First Baby

last Dec. 29, when i was at Sn. Luis Pampanga for my duty it was really a bad day. i dont know why! it so happened that when i woke up everything around me seems not right.. or maybe just because its almost 4 days since i cant defecate.. [first time yata mamahay ng tyan ko..] after we ate breakfast that ate prepared for our group i lit one stick before i stepped in the service piera.

As we arrived at the hospital, other group catch my attention! damn! kaasar talaga sila! everything we do, for them its a competition. we wait for patient to arrive so that we can have cases for our PRC form.. sobrang boring! walang pasyente! I asked Sallie and Meynard to go out and have some Y!break.. i dont know?! badtrip talaga ang araw na iyon.. we decide to go back inside.. other groupmates searching for me!! may pasyente na q and im gonna do the actual! grabe! ang saya na nakakakaba.

I undress my uniform and change it to scrub suit.. I wore my clean gloves, mask and cap before i entered the Delivery Room. came right on time… ire xa ng ire.. grabe! gusto na nya daw mamatay! she screamed until her lungs out! Mam Jane [one of our CIs] done episioraphy and we saw the head of the baby. i positioned my self infront of the perineal of the mother and wait for the moment to arrive. Mam Jane told me to standby and wait for her instruction… when the babys head out she told me to pull the baby.. i grab the babys head with my one hand the another at the neck and pull with full force with care.. baby boy’s out! 4:35 PM! i shouted.. i put the baby at the mothers abdomen and clamp the cord with two forcep and cut in between.. the cord care personel held the baby to the nearby table for cleaning..

it was a great experience!! grabe! sana tama din mga english q noh.. lam mo naman tayo..
